Nathan S. Collier, of the Collier Companies, and his wife Ani Collier, a former professional ballet dancer from Bulgaria, have generously offered a 10-year dollar-for-dollar challenge grant to help secure the Hippodrome’s future.
This unprecedented gift will allow the Hippodrome to build up an unrestricted fund to help smooth out the cash flow challenges inherent to the seasonal nature of theatre. The theatre’s staff and board of trustees expect it to lay the foundation for growth and an even higher caliber of artistic product in the coming years.
You fill out a simple one-page pledge form stating the amount you intend to give annually from 2019 through 2029. You can fill these out here online, or download them and submit via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
After you make your pledged 2019 donation, the Colliers will contribute to the Hippodrome in the same amount. Your gift will go towards actor salaries, script royalties, educational programming, etc., and the Colliers’ gift will go into an unrestricted endowment fund that will help stabilize the theatre’s operations into the future.
